Use this handy ruler to set your seam gauge. We like using a gauge, but it can be tricky to get it in exactly the right spot. This bright green acrylic 2 1/2” x 5” ruler has holes at 1/4” to 2” in 1/8” increments. Drop your needle carefully into the hole that you need, and set your seam gauge against the right edge of the ruler. It’s that easy. Works with most seam gauges that affix to a needle plate either magnetically or with a screw, including quilting bars.
