Here Comes Summer!

It’s a holiday weekend, and we’ve been busy with houseguests and quilt-show preparations. Yes, our guests were put to work bundling tools and applying price tags! But they were rewarded with homemade chocolate ice cream, so we heard very few complaints. Bucklebee is back on the road on Thursday, headed to Northern Virginia for the Quilters Unlimited Show at the Dulles Expo in Chantilly. It’s a three-day show, so I hope you can find some time to see the quilts, visit the vendors, and come by the Bucklebee Toolbox shop to see our latest tools, patterns and handbags. Tool demos will be non-stop all three days.

We’re really excited to be partnering with Paintbrush Studio Fabrics this Father’s Day. They’ll be featuring our Double Decker Eyeglass Case as a project to showcase Jennie Phan’s “Food Trucks” collection. We made one up with refreshing beverages on one side, and fun pretzels on the other. Double Decker is a quick, easy make for any occasion, and best of all, the pattern is free!
