A Wild Welcome Home

We had a wonderful and successful show with Quilters Unlimited this past weekend! We made new friends, reconnected with old friends, and put faces to names of online friends! As you might guess, I was bone-dog tired when I got home to NE PA after the quilt show, and I had hoped to sleep late yesterday morning. I was awakened very early by Cricket barking like crazy and Mike hollering at me to get up, get up! I think I was still asleep when I stood up, walked into the living room (Mike is hollering to get the camera!) and I am greeted by a massive black bear in the yard. We figure this big boy was about 400 pounds of nonchalance; the dog's bark didn't phase him one bit, nor did we, standing at the door watching him amble away. He had the attitude of a creature that knows he's the top of the local food chain. I have one, poor picture for you, but I've circled our visitor. Keep in mind that by the time I could gather my senses enough to take a pic, he was 250 feet down the driveway.
